I am making a point to not borrow anything from the library unless it is a book that I have for review that has already been released. I accepted a review book from an author that I have already reviewed for because it was a short book so I wasn’t worried about not being able to get it read.

Update

So I haven’t been around the blog lately (the posts up this week were scheduled ones). I started a new job on Monday and that has taken a lot of my time. I have always worked full time until recently when my boss started scheduling me less and less (that’s an entirely different story). So I left my job that I had been at for the last 7 years. I was out of work for a couple weeks and then I was offered a full time position with a medical supply company. This is so different from my last job because I am actually busy all day! Before I could read and write posts while I was at work and now I can only read during my lunch break. This is actually nice because I usually am eating by myself which means that I am actually reading something for 30 min a day.  I am going to have to get used to reading at home again like I used to. So I apologize if my reviews slow down but I am going to try really hard to keep the blog up. Bear with me until I can get used to everything again.

Half Price Books was having a 20% off store wide sale for Labor Day and I decided to stop in since we had a little extra money this week. I was surprised that I found as much as I did since I went on the last day of the sale but I came out with a few good books. I also picked up one book from Ollie’s this week.

Check it out! I actually bought some physical books this week! I haven't bought any books in a little over 3 months! They opened an Ollie’s less than 10 minutes from my house (the one I used to go to was about 40 min away). They had a grand opening on Wed so you know I was there! I bought quite a few books and a couple for my son. I actually ended up putting a ton back too. I might go back and get them though… ;-)
