Showcase Sunday #28

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits, and Tea. This is where we highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. For more information about how this feature works and how to join in, click here.

I didn’t buy any physical books this week! Yay for the book buying diet! Hopefully I can keep this up. I wish I could do this good with a real diet!!!

  1. Ahh I wish I had your self restraint. I didn't buy any books but I went down to library to get one book and left with three :/ Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland sounds funny so I'll have to get a copy of that! Enjoy :)

    1. I'm trying to stay away from the library unless I need a first book in order to read a review book or something like that. I do go to library for my son though. I just stay away from the YA section. Our library doesn't have a very good selection anyway. I read the Alice in Wonderland book yesterday and oooh my... I will have a review up when I read the second one.

  3. More great looking books! :-) And well done on not buying any physical books! I almost managed that this week, but then made the mistake of looking in a charity bookshop... can't resist!

Happy reading, and have a great week :-)

  5. The Fifty Shades of Alice books are brilliant! The second one definitely wasn't as good as the first, but they were still great to read.
Hope you enjoy all the books you got! :)

  7. I downloaded Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland and Fifty Shades of Alice Through the Looking Glass a few weeks ago, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet. The idea of them was just so absurd, I simply couldn't say no! XD

Hope you enjoy your books, and have a great week. :)

    1. I'm really surprised at myself for doing good on my diet! I think the diet is much easier than an actual book buying ban.. Nobody wants to do that.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  11. 50 Shades of Alice? That's a new one for me! :) The Shimmer of Angels has a beautiful cover, though I tend to be a little hesitant when it comes to picking up angel themed books. Unspoken was brilliant read for me though. Great haul, Laura! :)
