Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits, and Tea. This is where we highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. I didn’t buy any physical books this week! Yay
for the book buying diet! Hopefully I can keep this up. I wish I could do this good
with a real diet!!!

Ahh I wish I had your self restraint. I didn't buy any books but I went down to library to get one book and left with three :/ Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland sounds funny so I'll have to get a copy of that! Enjoy :)

My Showcase Sunday
I'm trying to stay away from the library unless I need a first book in order to read a review book or something like that. I do go to library for my son though. I just stay away from the YA section. Our library doesn't have a very good selection anyway. I read the Alice in Wonderland book yesterday and oooh my... I will have a review up when I read the second one.
DeleteSome awesome books mentioned here that I'd like to get my hands on.

My weekly wrap up + haul
Thanks! Hope you get the ones you want!
DeleteMore great looking books! :-) And well done on not buying any physical books! I almost managed that this week, but then made the mistake of looking in a charity bookshop... can't resist!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, and have a great week :-)
I'm trying! I probably couldn't resist a charity shop either! I just try not to drive by my Half Priced Books. haha
DeleteHope you have a great week also!
Hahah 50 shades of Alice sounds like fun! I have to check that out. :D
ReplyDeleteNice haul!
Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
It was definitely an interesting read. I still have the second one to read but I will post a review when I've read both. Thanks for stopping by mine too!
DeleteThe Fifty Shades of Alice books are brilliant! The second one definitely wasn't as good as the first, but they were still great to read.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all the books you got! :)
haha It was definitely an interesting concept! I haven't read the second one yet but I am intrigued!
DeleteI failed on my book buying diet this week :( Enjoy all your books, they look great.

It happens to everyone once in awhile! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI downloaded Fifty Shades of Alice in Wonderland and Fifty Shades of Alice Through the Looking Glass a few weeks ago, but haven't gotten around to reading them yet. The idea of them was just so absurd, I simply couldn't say no! XD
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your books, and have a great week. :)
That's pretty much why I downloaded it too! I couldn't pass it up. haha
DeleteHope you have a great week too!
Happy 6th Birthday to your boy, Laura! :)
ReplyDeleteI read World On A String and enjoyed it! Hope you will too.
Have a great week!
He say's Thank You!!
DeleteHope you have a great week too!
Aww awesome! I seriously need to go on a book buying diet - it's getting ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteI'm really surprised at myself for doing good on my diet! I think the diet is much easier than an actual book buying ban.. Nobody wants to do that.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow so many gorgeous books this week Laura! And seriously I wish I had your will power in not buying so many books! I hope you enjoy all your reads! :)
ReplyDelete50 Shades of Alice? That's a new one for me! :) The Shimmer of Angels has a beautiful cover, though I tend to be a little hesitant when it comes to picking up angel themed books. Unspoken was brilliant read for me though. Great haul, Laura! :)
