Top Ten "New" Series I Want to Start

Created by The Broke and the Bookish

This week’s TTT is the top ten new series I want to start. These are supposed to be books that have come out within the last year or two. I cheated a little though and included books where the last one (or most recent) has come out within that time frame. Also, all of these series/trilogies are complete on my shelf except for #1 (I still need book 3 & 4). It’s embarrassing how many complete series/trilogies I own and haven’t started. As with most of my top ten posts, this is in no particular order.

10. The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo
Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1)Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2)Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3)

9. EveTrilogy by Anna Carey
Eve (Eve, #1)Once (Eve, #2)Rise (Eve, #3)

8. Unearthly Trilogy by Cynthia Hand
Unearthly (Unearthly, #1)Hallowed (Unearthly, #2)Boundless (Unearthly, #3)

7. Trylle Trilogy by Amanda Hocking
Switched (Trylle, #1)Torn (Trylle, #2)Ascend (Trylle, #3)

6. The Watersong Quartet by Amanda Hocking
Wake (Watersong #1)Lullaby (Watersong, #2)Tidal (Watersong, #3)Elegy (Watersong, #4)

5. Under the Never Sky Trilogy by Veronica Rossi
Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1)Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky, #2)Into the Still Blue (Under the Never Sky, #3)

4. Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu
Legend (Legend, #1)Prodigy (Legend, #2)Champion (Legend, #3)

3. Delirium Trilogy by Lauren Oliver
Delirium (Delirium, #1)Pandemonium (Delirium, #2)Requiem (Delirium, #3)

2. Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth
Divergent (Divergent, #1)Insurgent (Divergent, #2)Allegiant (Divergent, #3)

1. Unwind Dystology Series by Neal Shusterman
Unwind (Unwind, #1)UnWholly (Unwind, #2)UnSouled (Unwind, #3)Undivided (Unwind, #4)

Which ones do you want to start? Any of these I should get to sooner rather than later?

  1. Great picks! oliver and Roth are both great, so I suggest you start with them.
Lu's books were not my thing; I stopped after Legend, sadly, and I doubt I will read more. Same was with Rossi, I read two and it does get better as the series go along, but there's still something lacking... I may or may not finish, haven't decided yet...
    Happy reading!

  2. Such great picks! I have read The Grisha trilogy, the Under the Never Sky trilogy, the Legend one and the Divergent one and I loved them all. From those 4, I think the Grisha trilogy was the most unique one, but I did really enjoy all of them.

Unwind, Trylle and Unearthly are all on my TBR too but I have never gotten around to starting them..
I hope you enjoy reading them when you get to it :D
