This is where I show everything I that I bought,
borrowed, or just added to my bookshelf over the past week. I throw together Showcase Sunday and Stacking the Shelves in one post.
I also include a wrap-up of
everything that was posted to the blog this past week.

I
totally forgot to do one of these last week! On my defense I came down with
strep throat and we were super busy. So this covers the last two weeks. So a
couple weeks ago I decided that I hadn’t been to Half Price Books in a while
and that I was going to take the evening to myself. So I did. This also led to
me going to the Barnes & Noble across the street. I have been sticking to
my goal of not buying books just because everyone says they are good. I am only
buying them if I think they sound good. I also picked up a couple that I
haven’t heard anything about. I haven’t done that in a while.
Learning not to Drown by Anna Shinoda
Saga Volume 3 by Brian K. Vaughn
Deep and Dark and Dangerous by
Mary Downing Hahn
The Grim Grotto (A Series of Unfortunate Events,#11) by Lemony Snicket
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by
Jenny Han
I picked up the
most awesome copy of this next book at HPB. I have never seen this version
before and I am so glad I have waited to buy this. It has art by Ellen Forney
in it and on the book itself. I just read her autobiography graphic novel and
loved the artwork in it so this is like a bonus!
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by
Sherman Alexie
Before I went to
the physical stores I downloaded a couple graphic novels.
Saga Volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughn
Saga Volume 2 by Brian K. Vaughn
That was a couple
weeks ago. I also bought some books this week at HPB.
Tease by Amanda Maciel
The Slippery Slope (A Series of Unfortunate Events,#10) by Lemony Snicket
The Archived (The Archived, #1) by
Victoria Schwab
Panic by Lauren Oliver

How
was your week? Let me know in the comments!
Great haul and hope you're feeling better! Strep throat is awful. I've been wanting to read The Archived and To All the Boys I've Loved Before for awhile now. I'd forgotten about the Lemony Snicket books. I read the first few ages ago and enjoyed them. Have a great (and healthy) week!
ReplyDeleteOh yea, you got a ton of great books there.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing so much about the Saga series. I requested them at my library and I just got notice that my hold is available for pick up today. So yay! :)
Enjoy all your new reads.
Happy reading!
