I loved this book. I first saw it in the bookstore but thought it might be a little too young for my 5 year old and a little too old for my 3 year. However when I saw it later while I was with my older son he thought it looked pretty fun.

This is a very simple interactive book and would be great for a child that knows their left and right and is learning to follow directions. It is lots of fun. I think it would be great if someone turned this book into a real interactive book on a table or something. Definitely pick this book up or at least rent it from the library.

There are lots of cats on Ben Yehuda Street, but it is the friendship between a little grey cat with a red collar and a fluffy white stray cat that brings two lonely neighbors together.

Well my son is a cat person so I thought he would enjoy this book. I have to say I was right. He said he loved this book. It’s just a story about a man who runs a fish shop and his neighbor and a couple cats, nothing complicated going on. The artwork was interesting. They were full page graphics and it looked as though you could see the brush strokes which I tend to like.  I say go ahead and pick this book up. It was a quick, cute read.
