Middle School is horrific enough for any 6th grader's first day. But for Bill Stokes, it's a festering, rotting, undead nightmare. Since Bill's deadbeat dad got arrested trying to burn the house down for the insurance, Mom's had to make ends meet by volunteering to various medical research companies for cash. Thankfully, Bill's still been able to train for his dream career: pro video gamer. So this would be all fine if Mom hadn't brought home a mysterious zombie virus! Now Bill has to deal with skin problems and body chemistry changes that make puberty look like a walk in the park!

Ok I have to say I was a little disappointed in this book. This was a middle grade book and the story was there and it had potential but I don't think it was fulfilled. The one thing I had a major problem with was the author had a tendency to take names of business's and barely change them (i.e.: Burger king was King Burger; Red Box was Blue Box; and YouTube was YouVid..etc) This happened quite a bit throughout the story. I really wish he would have created his own names.

I did love the graphics throughout the book and I'm glad they were there because nobody was really described in the book. There was a small amount of description for the first "bully" Janine and same with the set of brother's, Steve and Josh.

I hope the next book lets us know what has actually happened to cause them to become Zombies and I would also like to know why no one has even suspected something was wrong with them.
