Annie and Fia are ready to fight back.

The sisters have been manipulated and controlled by the Keane Foundation for years, trapped in a never ending battle for survival. Now they have found allies who can help them truly escape. After faking her own death, Annie has joined a group that is plotting to destroy the Foundation. And Fia is working with James Keane to bring his father down from the inside.

But Annie's visions of the future can't show her who to trust in the present. And though James is Fia's first love, Fia knows he's hiding something. The sisters can rely only on each other - but that may not be enough to save them.

This is the second book in the Mind Games duology. (not really sure what you would call just two books). I didn’t enjoy this one quiet as much as the first one but there was one specific reason why. Just like the first book, this one jumps back and forth between Annie and Fia’s points of view and also jumps in time. However, the timeline is not even. I don’t think I can really explain it properly without being completely confusing. This really confused me though. I know I don’t make since.

I read this right after reading and loving Mind Games. I still loved the two main characters just as much as the in the first one. Annie really evolves in this book which was great to see. The ending to the first book was crazy so it was a must to jump into this book.

There was some romance in this book, just as there was with the first book. Annie’s romance was by far my favorite though. The development between the two people was great and it was by no means insta.

The ending of this book was fantastic! The fact that we knew what the ending was possibly going to be really kept me wanting to read. I just couldn’t put the book down. If you read the first one then I definitely would recommend picking up the second book.

My Rating:
(4.5 Stars)
