This is where I show everything I that I bought,
borrowed, or just added to my bookshelf over the past week. I throw together Showcase Sunday and Stacking the Shelves in one post.
I also include a wrap-up of
everything that was posted to the blog this past week.

Marbles: Mania, Depression, Michelangelo, and Me by Ellen Forney
Hollow City (Miss Peregrine, #2) by Ransom Riggs
Another
good deal from Amazon! I already owned Burn Bright in a physical copy but I
figured since it was free I might as well add it to my Kindle just in case. Plus the covers are beautiful!
Burn Bright (Night Creatures, #1) by Marianne de Pierres
Shine Light (Night Creatures, #3) by Marianne de Pierres
I
also picked up a couple notebooks and some magnetic bookmarks (only one of the set of bookmarks is shown)! One of the
notebooks for taking notes while I am reading a book. The other is to help keep
track of what books I am gotten for review. Question for other bloggers out
there. What do you do to keep track of your review books (for NetGalley,
Edelweiss, etc.)? I just can’t seem to find a good way!
{Review}
There
is some good stuff on Edelweiss right now so a huge THANK YOU! To the
publishers for allowing me to read these. I am so excited for all of them.

Lovely haul! I have the three Pierres books as well, plan to read them soon. And I also must get on Peregrine's as the books look awesome :D
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Miss Peregrine's is soo good! Hope you get to read it soon! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI am so excited for Lily Graves. it sounds amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt does sound really good. I was so excited I was able to get it. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI got a lot of the Harper titles too. I especially can't wait to read Arclight, Meridian and the Half Life of Molly Pierce. Enjoy your reads!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pass on all those Harper titles! They all sound so good! Arclight was really good and has a pretty good twist to it. Hope you enjoy them all too!
DeleteLots of great deals! I love shopping at Half Price Books, but try not to stop there because I end up with so many books. :) I didn't know there was a sequel to Arclight, I still need to read the first but love that cover!
ReplyDeleteThe Monster Report
I can definitely go broke sometimes at Half Price Books. Especially if it's a good day. The covers to Arclight and Meridian are both so pretty! I can't wait to own it so it will match the first one on my shelf.
DeleteGreat haul! Lots of interesting looking books. Love the look of the Lily Graves one. I hope you enjoy your books! My STS :)
ReplyDeleteThe cover of Lily Graves is what made me check it out. It sounds like it could be really good. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThose notebooks are gorgeous - I have a weakness for good stationery :D I didn't realise there was already a second Miss Peregrine, I still haven't gotten around to reading the first! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI love having a good notebook but I hardly every use them. Or I will use it for a little bit and then change my mind. haha. Hopefully that doesn't happen this time! You must read the first Miss Peregrine book. It was what got me hooked on YA! It's so good!
DeleteHi Laura,
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my haul post.
"Lily Graves" and "Molly Pierce" joined my ever increasing Wish List after last week's haul posts, whilst "Hollow City" had been on there for a while because I enjoyed "Miss Peregrine".
I've not heard of "Marbles" before, but it sounds interesting, especially as it mentions Van Gogh in the description on Amazon and I went to his work at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam back in September.
Enjoy your reads. :)
I picked Marbles up on a complete whim and I actually have no real idea what it is about. Hopefully it's as good as it looks though. Thanks for stopping by my post as well!
