The monster showed up after midnight.
As they do.
But it isn't the monster Conor's been expecting. He's been expecting the one from his nightmare, the one he's had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments, the one with the darkness and the wind and the screaming...
This monster is something different, though. Something ancient, something wild. And it wants the most dangerous thing of all from Conor.
It wants the truth

I’ve heard
this book is pretty great. I’ve read The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick
Ness and I really enjoyed the writing. So I think this would be no different.
This has a
very high rating on Goodreads and I’ve seen that some people are crying! Yikes!
I don’t know if I’m prepared for that but I still can’t wait to read this book.
I really want to see what the pictures are in this book to because almost everyone says they are great.

My WW
This book has had so many great reviews and it reminds me a little of Frankenstein (which I loved) so I think I need to read this too! I hope you get it and enjoy it :)
