What did I just read or sort of read? I should say that I did not finish this book. I was about half way through it when I gave up. I don’t give up on a lot of books so it has to say something when I do.

I absolutely love the story of Alice in Wonderland… this however was a slutty screwed up version for sure. Everything was trying to eat or kill her. It was quiet graphic to say the least (no pun intended), by graphic I mean gory. People’s heads were lying in boxes, people eating people, just weirdness.

The graphic novel itself has good drawings and is definitely very detailed. It also includes the characters from the original story, i.e. Walrus, the Carpenter, and the Jabberwocky. I would recommend this more for men (not children) or if you really like blood and gore then go for it. I will pass however.

My Rating:

*I received this book for free from the publisher and NetGalley in return for an honest review.
