Do you have a system as to which books to read from your “requested review pile? What is it? What about when there are too many to read in a certain time frame? {apologies to those who don’t review}
I actually haven’t had any requested reviews so I just
reviews whatever ones I have reading during the month. I would have to say if I
did have some requested ones it would probably be the most requested books
first then books that are becoming popular. Short books are really easy to read
so those would probably be high on the list too.

Since I read for fun and entertainment, I am very selective of the books I choose for requested reading. I also don’t like the stress of having to have a book read by a certain time. That is one of the reasons I started my own personal library so I’m not under a deadline to get a book read. I also love my local library, but don’t check out many books because again I have to read it by a certain date, I am retired and don’t like stress. ; )
ReplyDeleteHaving my own personal library is definitely a plus. Our local library doesn't seem to have a very good selection of YA books so I definitely buy up books when I find a good price. I probably have more unread books than ones I have read.

I am getting smart and limiting more of the requests I receive..after all, reading should first of all be fun!
ReplyDeleteI agree! Reading should definitely be for fun. If I fell like I have to read something then I usually end up giving it a lower rating and not enjoying it as much as I think I would if I just read it for fun.
