Who is this dark, mysterious, sympathetic guy, barely older than Emerson herself, who seems to believe every crazy word she says? Why does an electric charge seem to run through the room whenever he's around? And why is he so insistent that he needs her help to prevent a death that never should have happened?

This book just sounds interesting to me. It seems to have a decent rating on Goodreads and I have never read anything quite like this. I’m not sure if it’s a time travel book but that’s what it looks like maybe?

I love the cover of this book and the sequel. That's really all I can think of as to why I want it. I haven't seen a YouTube review on it and I usually don't read the reviews on goodreads I just look at the ratings.

I probably won't pay full price for this but if I saw it at Half Priced Books I would definitely grab it. I would like to find out for myself how this book is.
