Mini Monday #27

*late again!!*

Mini Monday: Where I do two “mini” reviews on two children’s books. Each book will get a Thumbs up, Middle Thumb, or Thumbs down rating!

Build your LEGO library!

Welcome to the LEGO City Fire Department! There's a new trainee in town - and he's a little bit clumsy. He can't use the fire hose, or fly the helicopter, but he might have what it takes to save the day.

This book was a little on the funnier side. The new trainee learns what he is good at when trying to get a job at the Lego City Fire Department.

Build your LEGO library with these city adventures!

Put on your hardhats and get to work at the construction site. Nothing is too big for these heavy-duty trucks to load and lift! Read along and the building will be up in no time!

In this book you learn the process of building a large building with Lego men to help! I didn’t enjoy this one quite as much.

Both of these books are pretty much just catalogs for Lego’s but what do you expect. They both have full page graphics and pretty much all of the buildings, cars, and machines look like Legos. Even the props like the radios and flowers are Legos. It was exactly what I excepted from a $3 book. My son enjoyed them though and that is what matters!  I will be trying to find the rest of the books and do reviews on them also.

My (son's) Rating:
